Uvas Rain Hike -

Over the past few weeks we have had some pretty intermittently rainy weather. We have all been itching to get out on the trails! This past week we decided to head over to Uvas Canyon County Park for a nice hike amongst the waterfalls. With all the rain we have had it was sure to be a beautiful hike.

We got to the trial around 11:30 and pulled into the parking lot to find we were in the middle of nice little storm cell! The Rain was really coming down so we decided to eat our picnic lunch in the car. As soon as we were done eating the rain let up! We headed out to enjoy a simple hike that yielded many beautiful sights.

This park is great for the whole family, even the dog! The trails are clearly marked and offer a scenic hike up Uvas Canyon. With all the rain we have experienced lately the creek was really flowing! The small waterfalls provide a beautiful soundtrack as you navigate the well-manicured trail.
